Rental Application Management Portal

A local real estate company was handling rental applications through a mix of paper forms, emailed documents and spreadsheets. It was slow for applicants and hard for staff to keep track of where each application stood.

What I built

  • An online application applicants can complete from any device
  • Secure document upload for IDs, pay stubs and supporting paperwork
  • A staff dashboard to review, filter and track every application by property and status
  • Status updates and notifications so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Role-based access so the right people see the right information

The result

Every application now lives in one place. Staff spend less time chasing paperwork, and applicants get a faster, more professional experience.

Nationwide Support Ticket & Staffing Portal

AbblePC, a nationwide IT field staffing company, needed a better way to manage its support requests and on-site staffing. When issues came up in the field anywhere in the country, technicians had to be found, dispatched and tracked, and email and spreadsheets weren't keeping up.

What I built

  • A custom support ticket system to log and manage each on-site request
  • Assignment and tracking of technicians and staffing across locations nationwide
  • Clear ticket statuses and history from open through resolution
  • A central dashboard giving the project manager a real-time view of all active work
  • Reporting to keep clients updated on progress and completion

The result

A single source of truth for nationwide field support: faster dispatching, better accountability, and much easier reporting back to clients.

Plugnap: Cheapest-Time EV Charging App

Electricity often costs far less at certain hours, but most EV owners don't know when. Plugnap reads your utility's rate plan and tells you the cheapest time to charge tonight. It works with any EV and charger, with no account, ads or tracking.

What I'm building

  • An iPhone app, home-screen widget and Apple Watch app that show tonight's cheapest charging window
  • A data pipeline that pulls residential rate plans from the national Utility Rate Database and keeps them current
  • An API that works out the cheapest window for each plan
  • The option to enter your own rate, which stays on your device
  • Planned: sending the charging schedule straight to a Tesla

POP3 to Microsoft 365 Email Migration

The business was running on an older POP3 email provider. Mail was downloaded to individual computers, so messages didn't sync between devices, there was no shared calendar, and data lived on single machines at risk of being lost.

What I did

  • Planned the migration and set up the Microsoft 365 tenant and user accounts
  • Moved existing email from the legacy provider into Microsoft 365 mailboxes
  • Updated domain DNS records for mail delivery and authentication
  • Configured Outlook on desktops and phones for each user
  • Coordinated the cutover to keep downtime to a minimum

The result

Email that syncs everywhere, shared calendars, cloud-backed mailboxes, and a foundation for Teams, OneDrive and the rest of Microsoft 365.
